1. significance of weapons and equipment storage

due to the needs of military struggle, some weapons and equipment need to be used in the field for a long time to solve a serious problem that hinders the recycling of plastic, such as the use and parking of plastic. They are eroded by the corrosive environment all the time, especially in islands, coastal areas and high temperature and high humidity areas. Their corrosion damage is more serious, and some even appear the situation of "rot before use", and their losses are incalculable. Therefore, field protection and storage must be implemented

2. Technical requirements for long-term field storage of outer packaging

For field storage, it is necessary to prevent the corrosion and aging of stored objects by various corrosive media in nature

implementing long-term field storage of large-scale weapons and equipment is a highly demanding and difficult system engineering to enhance the conversion of old and new kinetic energy and industrial transformation and upgrading. The most critical technology is the design and production of storage packaging. Under severe environmental conditions, the outer packaging for long-term field storage of aircraft must also meet the following technical requirements:

(1) during the storage period, it can effectively prevent the corrosion damage and aging damage of sealed objects caused by rain, humid air, polluted atmosphere, salt fog, strong sunlight, ultraviolet light, ozone and other harmful substances

(2) during the storage period, it can effectively prevent the damage caused by various adverse meteorological environments (including high temperature, severe cold, hail, rainstorm, heavy snow, sandstorm, strong typhoon, etc.)

(3) during the storage period, it can effectively prevent the damage caused by wild animals such as rats, ants and mold

(4) it can adapt to the characteristics of complex aircraft shape, many water inlet ways, and a large number of various liquid oils stored in the aircraft

3. Characteristics and adaptability of several external packaging for storage

(1) metal containers and plastic containers. They have the advantages of good sealing and convenient use. They are mainly used for the storage of small and precision objects, but it is unrealistic to use them for the storage of large weapons and equipment such as aircraft. This is because making such a huge sealed container is not only difficult, but also expensive

(2) envelope. The envelope is made of composite plastic, composite aluminum plastic cloth, composite rubber and other materials. It can be used for the storage of aircraft indoors and in caverns, but it cannot be used for the field storage of aircraft and other large weapons and equipment. This is because the huge envelope is wrapped outside the sealed objects, and it simply cannot withstand the damage of wind and sand, especially the strong wind

(3) peelable coating. It is to directly or indirectly apply the strippable coating to the outer surface of the aircraft. After the coating is cured, a sealing and protective coating with certain bonding strength and strippability can be formed. It has strong adaptability. As long as it has excellent weather resistance, it can be used for long-term storage in the field, and there is no need for special storage outer packaging. However, since most of the strippable coatings for storage are prepared from rubber and plastic polymers, they have great cohesion, relatively small bonding strength, large surface tension, large shrinkage and other inherent characteristics, so it is easy to form small cracks or bulges at the edges, corners, gaps, grooves at the junction of the two objects and places with serious oil contamination. In case of strong winds, cold and hot weather changes, these small cracks or bulges will crack, resulting in storage failure. In order to avoid the above defects, it is necessary to stick reinforcing cloth on these parts to enhance

(4) peelable composite structure coating

in order to meet the needs of long-term storage in the field under bad environmental conditions, we have developed a peelable composite structure coating as an outer package. It is realized in this way: first, the peelable coating is applied to the surface of the aircraft, and the formed coating is used as the bottom layer of the composite structure coating; Using the same kind of paint as adhesive, paste the cut glass fiber fabric or other synthetic fabrics to the outer surface of the sealed object to form a skeleton layer; A layer of shielding coating is coated on the outer surface of the skeleton layer, and the formed coating is used as the surface layer of the composite structure coating. This composite structure coating has better comprehensive performance, and it is more suitable for long-term field storage of aircraft under harsh environmental conditions

4. Introduction of a material for long-term storage in the field

according to the results of a large number of storage tests, it is the easiest, economical and effective method to implement long-term storage of aircraft in the field by using the peelable composite structure coating formed by the peelable coating to implement the fully enclosed outer packaging of aircraft under adverse environmental conditions. Therefore, the research of peelable coating has become the key of field storage technology

strippable coatings used for long-term storage in the field must have excellent comprehensive properties: good sealing, corrosion resistance and strippability; Strong and durable; It has excellent weather resistance and can be used in the field for a long time (the service life is more than five years)

5. Outlook - sealing technology and materials

We believe that "simplicity + high tightness" is the future of storage technology. Simplicity means simple storage construction, high efficiency and less pollution. High sealing performance means that the sealing performance of outer packaging materials is high. How to understand and how to realize "simplicity + high sealing"? It is easy to understand this problem by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of sealing with strippable coatings

they said that using strippable paint to store aircraft in the field for a long time is the most simple, economical and effective method, which is a conclusion drawn from the comparison of other storage methods this year. This is because the sealing method of peelable coatings has two outstanding advantages: first, the coating formed by peelable coatings itself is the sealed outer packaging, and there is no need for another outer packaging; Because this kind of outer packaging is based on the sealed objects and adheres to the outer surface of the sealed objects, it has strong adaptability and can adapt to the harsh environmental conditions in the wild. At present, this outstanding advantage can be considered unique; Second, the coating is peelable and has good maintainability. As long as it is painted, it can be repaired and its service life can be extended

there are also two obvious shortcomings in sealing with strippable paint: first, because all the work of sealing is concentrated on the sealing site, the workload of sealing site construction is large, and the paint curing takes enough time, so the construction cycle of sealing site is long; Second, most of the strippable coatings currently used are solvent based, so the storage site is polluted

how to carry forward the advantages of strippable coating sealing and overcome its shortcomings is a new topic in the research of sealing technology. We once imagined that if we study a new sealing material with excellent sealing and weather resistance and self-adhesive, and use the paste method to seal the outer packaging, we can achieve the ideal situation of simple construction and good sealing effect. We call this sealing technology of sealing outer packaging by pasting "sealing technology", and this new material can be called "sealing material (cloth)"
